Short Stud Girth

Our short stud girths are contoured in a way to allow the horse to have total freedom through the elbow area when jumping. This style of girth as with our other girths is made of super soft premium calf skin with a harder leather strike shield where there is a strike risk from the horses’ hooves. Made using a buckle and a D ring as this way of manufacturing the girth causes no pressure points when the girth is pulled tight on the horse. As with our well known and popular short softie this girth is easy for the rider to tighten up themselves as there are no keepers and crew holes to threat the girth straps through first but the girth straps buckles are fixed in a way so they will not pull back and rub on the horses skin. Where requested and as with our other girth’s elastic is available and will be in the middle of the girth ensuring complete balance on either side if the saddle. Available in all the Ryder colours and in any size with the thread colour of your choice as well as coloured welt to match your Ryder Saddle
